        Ms. Kylissa

Kylissa Jo has been immersed in the performing arts from an early age, beginning her dance journey at just two years old and working in the dance industry since the age of 13. Over the years, she has built a diverse background in performance, teaching, and creative arts. As a performer, Kylissa has appeared in major stage productions including The Phantom of the Opera, A Chorus Line, The Lion King, Artie, and more. In addition to her theatre experience, she has a competitive athletic background, having competed in figure skating at the state level and later instructing young skaters in technique and artistry. Her love for the arts doesn’t stop at the stage—Kylissa also explores the world of music production, bringing a creative ear and rhythm-driven perspective to her work as a teacher. In the classroom, she combines her professional experiences in dance, theatre, figure skating, and music to create a dynamic and inspiring learning environment. She is passionate about helping each dancer grow not only in skill, but also in confidence, creativity, and self-expression.

        Ms. Kirsten

Ms. Kirsten (aka Miss Pickles) has been teaching dance and theater for 15 years. She began dancing at the age of 2 and has been submerged in the arts since. As she advanced in her artistic and athletic training, Kirsten attended several regional and national dance competitions, also performing at local events. During her youth, she competed in gymnastics and figure skating, receiving gold medals and overall high scores. Kirsten played lead roles in many productions, including Sandy (Grease), Carlotta (Phantom of the Opera), and Cassie (A Chorus Line). This led her to an interest in directing shows for young actors, which include Annie, Alice in Wonderland, The Greatest Showman, Frozen, Beauty and the Beast, and many more which took the stage at local theaters and the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts. Over the years, Ms. Kirsten has developed a passion for teaching younger dancers and sharing in their joy of learning. She has choreographed competition pieces placing in the overalls and winning special judges' awards. She teaches many styles of dance including ballet, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, hip hop, and acrobatics. Kirsten believes that young artists thrive with technical training despite age, and a fun, exciting environment to instill a love and passion for their craft.

        Ms. Shareen

Ms. Shareen brings a strong background in performance and teaching to Xpressions For Performing Arts. She began her journey in middle school as a cheerleader and continued developing her artistry in high school as a member of the dance team. During this time, she also showcased her athletic skills through track and performed in her school’s international show, Bollywood, as well as in parades and multiple stage productions. In addition to her dance training, Ms. Shareen holds a Bachelor’s degree in Media and Film, which strengthens her ability to connect performance with storytelling and creative expression. For the past two and a half years, she has been training full-time in dance, expanding her versatility and performing in numerous shows. She teaches a variety of styles and is especially strong in tap, jazz, and lyrical, while also having experience in acro. Her passion for the arts and dedication to her craft shine through in every class she teaches. Ms. Shareen is grateful for the opportunity to share her love of dance with the younger generation, inspiring her students to express themselves, grow in confidence, and discover their own artistry.

        Ms. GiGi

Ms. Gigi – Street Jazz & Acro Instructor I’ve always loved staying active and challenging myself as an all around athlete, but dance has always been where my heart truly is. I was first introduced to dance alongside AllStar Cheerleading as a child, and while I enjoyed many different sports over the years, dance has always been my favorite part of cheer and the place I’ve felt most free to express myself. What I love most about teaching is helping dancers not only build strength and confidence, but also discover the joy of performing. Dance is about more than just the steps it’s about expression, storytelling, and connecting with the music. I’m especially passionate about facials and performance quality, encouraging dancers to let their personalities shine through every move. My goal is to create a positive, high energy environment where students feel supported, have fun, and grow as both athletes and artists. I’m excited to share my love of Street Jazz and Acro with your talented kiddos!

        Ms. Kayla

Ms. Kayla- Improv, Ballet, Jazz, and Acro coach It has been my dream to dance since I was 6 and I’ve went on since then. I teach what inspires the children and I've been experienced in this studio for almost 5 years now, and I see all of these talented dancers that I know can become the best! I’ve been experienced in all types of genres, and I have gone to competitions myself. I know that dancing can be tough, but we all learn to face tough challenges together! I really hope to help all of these students and as a teacher myself, learn what dance values and I hope we all learn the better.

        Ms. Kaye

Ms. Kaye is a programmer and computer science professor with 23 years in higher education and a strong foundation in educational psychology—but her world extends far beyond the classroom. Since childhood, she has performed on stage through cultural dance, singing, and even marching as a majorette in a band. Started singing at age 9 and professionally trained in vocals by 16, she went on to become a lead vocalist in a band and later founded an artist guild, where she coaches young performers in musical theatre. She has also participated in numerous musical performances, sharing her artistry with audiences of all ages. A declamation champion, Ms. Kaye has also won numerous international vocal competitions, showcasing her talent on a global stage. Off stage, she is a certified makeup artist with runway experience, having glammed up Florida beauty queens for fashion shows. In addition, she is an experienced speaker in education, personality development, and instructional design and technology. Whether it’s code, performance, or beauty, creativity is the spotlight she never steps out of. She thrives on bringing out the best in others and turning creativity into confidence.
